6am and we have arrived! The beach was
already really busy, which seemed crazy but as we found out later it gets very
hot, so the earlier the better I guess! Anyway, we walked about 10minutes down
the road to our hotel and unfortunately couldn’t check in until 2, which was in
about 7 hours time, so we dumped our bags and went on the hunt for some very
early breakfast.
One of the only places open was the ‘Booze Cruise’ bar a few
doors down so we went there. Fully fed and ready for the day we went down to
the beach just before 9 and passed out there for most of the day. We hired
sunbeds and went swimming in the sea. This town is full of Russians and we’re
not quite sure why. A lot of the signs are in Russian and there are quite a few
restaurants too.
Eventually we made our way back to the hotel feeling like it
was about 7pm but it was only 2! Early mornings and lack of sleep confuses my
brain. We didn’t do a lot with the rest of the day but chill out and plan where
we were going to go for dinner. We ended up in Why Not as Chrissy quite wanted
some western food, from here we bumped into a guy we met in Hoi An who was with
2 girls, so the 5 of us went to some bar and spent our evening playing Jenga
and Connect 4, it turned into a very fun evening!
