No breakfast? Well that’s false
advertising! We were also supposed to get a free drink in the bar on arrival
but that didn’t happen either, I feel a trip advisor review coming on!
Yesterday we booked ourselves on ‘The Amazing 4 island snorkeling tour’, it was
£10 for about 7 hours of fun, taxi pick up , drop off and lunch of course
Out
on the boat we were told there would be 3 locations for snorkeling today. It
took us about 45minutes to arrive at the first spot where my bad luck decided
to make a reappearance. So for Christmas I asked for a waterproof camera so I
could use it on trips like this and it had mostly just been splashed so far but
after fully submerging it, the screen went black and then started pulsing and
looked like a barcode… not really what I was expecting. The only plus side is
that it’s happened with a month left to go instead of 4 months. I haven’t been
that good at snorkeling in the past but I must say I was pretty good this time
and it makes me wanna do more. The first spot was good but the current was
really strong so you got pulled out quite a bit. The second spot wasn’t really
that good but Chrissy and I decided to stick together which made it more fun!
Lunch time was upon us and oh my did they give us a good spread! The plates
just kept coming out, I’ll insert a photo just to show you how much there was
instead of trying to explain it.
The last spot was amazing and we saw so
many fish. We saw a few brightly coloured fish and one really long one that
looked a bit like a sword. I’m so good at this whole thing that I know nothing
about any of the fish we saw just what colours they are. What I do know is we
didn’t see any Nemo’s or Dori’s!
We were knackered when we got back so
we chilled out until dinner time where we went to Trip Advisor’s number one
restaurant called Nha Hang Yen Restaurant, the food was delicious and pretty cheap.
